Fleur De Lis G4 Custom Pony by Oak23 Fleur De Lis G4 Custom Pony by Oak23
And here is Fleur. I must admit, I didn't take to her as easily as I did to Fancypants, mostly because I felt she was vapid.

But in a combination of a lot of Fancypants and Fleur artwork, plus some newly adopted headcanons I felt my Fancypants custom needed a Fleur, since they're such a matching set. Lols my headcanon (borrowed from my friend Lukezee) is that she's the representative of "Prance" and doesn't really understand English/cultural norms, so she hires Fancypants who's fluent in her language "Fancy" and yeah. Either that or she's a Black Widow type character but Fancypants is too wise to her stuff and there's a lot of USTs between her and him.

Anyways, she's a Rarity cut up and put together with Milliput extensions to look more like her cartoon counterpart with a turnable head and sculpted hair. She's also insanely shiny due to lots of sealer, rubbing alcohol and multiple layers of white paint.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just use a Cadence instead? I think they have pretty much the same model if you clipped off Cadence's wings.

Aside from being fantastically done I am curious. When you say cut up I am going to guess. You cut her in the mid section and elongated her just a touch. I am not sure if you just added to the base of the foot or if you cut mid lower leg and extended it. I am pretty sure you extended the neck, though I am still working on that one. I would love to attempt this in a couple of my customs. If you have a chance and could pM me I would love to talk bout it ^.^

Yeep, I also extended her hooves and neck. I elongated her torso using scrunched up foil to hold her two pieces together as I sculpted it, then refined it a couple times. There's a bunch of pics of her unpainted and such in my WIP photos folder if you want to see :)

Im giving this sort of style a shot, though I may not survive it. all I have is sculpy at the moment and well. yeah thats not quite doing the job it seems. Anyway thanks for the tips. The wip photos help a lot. Before I saw your work I was debating on trying this to make male ponies more show accurate. Are you using the standard yellow miliput? Is the stuff sticky like apoxie sculpt when you work with it?

Lols from what I can tell, it's basically the same kind of stuff as apoxie sculpt. Milliput just happens to be readily available at my hobby stores haha. I'm using the standard yellow-grey milliput because it's the cheapest :B It is semi sticky so I recommend having water to keep your fingers wet and to help smooth it out.

Actually I grew confident at extending the torso when I made my custom "Lionheart" ghoul pony who's a male. It definitely makes them taller than regular ponies and slightly more mannish :P

I've been working on my fellow all day. After a bit of work the fimo is holding up, though I will be trying the miliput when I have some extra cash on hand. When he is out of the oven and cooled, I'll get a couple pics of him, see what you think.
